Drawn to Dread is a Halloween-themed illustration series I created in 2024, inspired by some of my favorite horror and thriller films. Each portrait focuses solely on the character’s face, capturing the raw emotion, tension, and psychological intensity that define their roles. I used Procreate on an iPad (9th Gen) with an Apple Pencil to bring each expression to life through dramatic chiaroscuro and detail. This series was a personal creative exploration of fear, identity, and storytelling through facial expression.
